Industrial Minerals
Dolomite
High-purity dolomite for steel, glass, and construction industries.
Applications
Dolomite (CaMg(CO₃)₂) serves as a fluxing agent in steelmaking and a source of calcium and magnesium in glass, ceramics, and refractories. It is widely used in cement, lime, and concrete production, and as a soil conditioner that raises pH in agriculture. Calcined and dead-burned grades support refractory linings and the manufacture of magnesium salts and chemical formulations.
