Products & Quality
What does S Prestige International trade?
Four divisions: steel and metals; industrial minerals; industrial chemicals; and bitumen and petrochemicals — 22 certified commodities in all. Each division is run by its own trade desk, and every product we quote is one we can source producer-direct and document fully.
Which grades and standards can you supply?
We quote against recognised international standards and, where needed, against your project specification. Tell us the grade, standard and tolerance you require; if we cannot certify it, we will say so rather than approximate. Technical data sheets accompany every quotation.
Do you provide certificates of analysis?
Yes. Every consignment ships with a certificate of analysis or mill test certificate from the producing facility, referencing the agreed specification. Where your contract requires it, we also arrange independent laboratory analysis, with results shared before shipment rather than after arrival.
Can shipments be independently inspected?
Certainly. We routinely arrange third-party inspection — quantity, quality and packing — at origin through internationally recognised surveyors, at the buyer's or seller's account as agreed. Inspection certificates form part of the shipping documents, and many of our long-standing contracts make pre-shipment inspection standard practice.
How do you verify origin?
Provenance is contractual, not anecdotal. Each shipment is documented with a certificate of origin issued by the competent authority, alongside producer documentation tracing the goods to the mill or plant that made them. We disclose origin at the quotation stage, before you commit to anything.
Ordering, MOQ & Lead Times
How do I request a quotation?
Send the commodity, grade or specification, quantity, destination port and preferred Incoterms to info@s-prestige-international.com, or by WhatsApp to +971 56 922 2006. Our trade desk replies within one business day with a considered quotation or, where clarification is needed, precise questions.
What are your minimum order quantities?
MOQs vary by commodity and packing. As a working guide, containerised chemicals and minerals typically begin at one full container load, while steel and bitumen are usually quoted from vessel or truck lots. Ask; for the right partnership we are often flexible on the first order.
What lead times should I expect?
Lead time depends on origin, product availability and routing. Stock positions can move within days of confirmation; produced-to-order material typically requires two to six weeks before shipment, plus transit. Every quotation states an explicit shipment window, which we then treat as binding.
Do you provide samples?
Yes, where the commodity allows. Laboratory samples and retained shipment samples can be couriered against a modest handling cost, generally credited against the first order. For bulk commodities we more commonly provide certified analyses and, where practical, arrange inspection of comparable cargo.
Do you handle recurring or contract supply?
That is where we do our best work. Annual and quarterly contracts with scheduled deliveries, agreed pricing formulas and dedicated account management are available across all four divisions. Long-term buyers also gain priority allocation when markets tighten.
Logistics & Shipping
Do you ship by sea, land or both?
Both, and often in combination. Our multimodal desk plans sea freight — containerised and break-bulk — alongside overland trucking, selecting the routing that best balances cost, transit time and cargo care. We serve 31 ports directly and reach more than 120 worldwide.
Containers or break-bulk?
Whichever suits the cargo. Chemicals, minerals and packed bitumen typically move in containers; larger steel tonnages and certain bulk minerals move break-bulk or in bulk vessels. We advise the most economic mode at the quotation stage and can price both where useful.
What transit times should I plan for?
Within the Gulf, sea transit is commonly two to seven days; MENA and the wider region, one to three weeks; Africa, Europe, Asia and Russia/CIS, two to six weeks depending on routing. Overland legs are quoted lane by lane, and each confirmation carries an estimated arrival window.
Is cargo insured, and can I track my shipment?
Under CIF terms we arrange marine cargo insurance as standard; under other terms we can arrange cover at your instruction. Every shipment is followed by our logistics desk, and you receive vessel details, milestones and documents as they occur, not when you chase them.
Which Incoterms do you work with?
We contract under Incoterms 2020 — most commonly EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, DAP and DDP. Our recommendation depends on your destination and customs capability; many buyers prefer CFR or CIF for simplicity, while established importers often take FOB. We quote alternatives on request.
Can you deliver door-to-door?
Yes. Under DAP or DDP we manage the full chain — origin handling, sea freight, destination clearance where contracted, and final-mile trucking — so your team receives one delivery, one document set and one point of accountability.
Payment & Documentation
What payment terms do you offer?
Terms are agreed per contract and counterparty. Typical structures include an advance with the balance against shipping documents, or a sight letter of credit. Established partners may access more flexible arrangements as the relationship matures. Every quotation states its payment terms explicitly, with no late surprises.
Do you accept letters of credit or bank transfer?
Both. We work routinely with irrevocable sight L/Cs from acceptable banks and with telegraphic transfer against agreed milestones. For first transactions, an L/C or documentary collection often suits both sides; we will recommend the structure that protects buyer and seller equally.
Which documents accompany a shipment?
A standard set: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or transport document, certificate of origin, and certificate of analysis or mill certificate — plus insurance certificate, inspection certificate and any legalisation your destination requires. Drafts are shared for your approval before final issue.
Do you provide HS codes and customs support?
Yes. Every quotation and invoice carries the harmonised system code we ship under, and our documentation team aligns descriptions, codes and certificates so customs clearance at destination proceeds without queries. Where classifications differ by jurisdiction, we confirm the code with your broker beforehand.
In which currency do you invoice?
USD by default, as is customary in commodity trade; euros and UAE dirhams are available by agreement. Exchange terms, validity and any hedging arrangements are fixed in the contract, so the price you confirm is the price you pay.
Company & Support
Who is S Prestige International?
A Dubai-based B2B trading and logistics house, founded by Amir Mohammad Mousapour and built on 30+ years of trade heritage. We trade 22 certified commodities across steel and metals, industrial minerals, industrial chemicals, and bitumen and petrochemicals, with multimodal logistics under the same roof.
Which regions do you serve?
Our contracts span 40+ markets across the Gulf, MENA, Africa, Europe, Asia and Russia/CIS, reaching more than 120 ports worldwide. Wherever your discharge port lies within that map, we have either shipped there or can route there through our carrier relationships.
How do I contact your trade desk?
Write to info@s-prestige-international.com, call or WhatsApp +971 56 922 2006, or visit us at Meydan Grandstand, 6th Floor, Dubai, UAE. Include your specification and destination if you can; it lets our first reply be a useful one.
How quickly will I receive a reply?
Within one business day, as a matter of policy. Straightforward enquiries usually receive a firm quotation in that first reply; complex or multi-origin requirements receive a clear timeline and any clarifying questions. Silence, in our experience, is the most expensive answer in trade.
Can we visit or meet before contracting?
We encourage it. Meetings at our Meydan offices in Dubai, video due-diligence sessions and, where practical, joint inspections at origin are all part of how first contracts get signed. Trade of this size deserves a handshake, even a digital one.
