Magnesium Hydroxide
High-purity magnesium hydroxide for flame-retardant and water-treatment applications.
Applications
Magnesium hydroxide is a halogen-free flame retardant for cables, PVC, rubber, and polymer compounds, suppressing smoke and toxic gas emissions during combustion. In water and wastewater treatment it neutralizes acids, buffers pH, and precipitates heavy metals as a safe alternative to caustic alkalis. It is further applied in flue-gas desulfurization, magnesium chemical production, and pulp and paper bleaching.
