Magnesium Chloride
Magnesium chloride flakes 46–47% for de-icing and dust control.
Applications
Magnesium chloride flakes are used for road de-icing and for dust suppression on unpaved roads, mine haul routes, and construction sites. The material also acts as a density and stabilizing agent in oil and gas drilling fluids and as a feedstock for Sorel cement, magnesium compounds, and water treatment. High solubility and strong hygroscopic action make it an efficient binding and moisture-control agent.
